World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury could lose boxing license

Troubled world heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury posted a picture alongside all of his belts in a response of decision of boxing chiefs to strip of his license at a meeting of the British Boxing Board of Control Wednesday.

He is also set to be stripped of his WBA and WBO heavyweight world titles after confessing in a Rolling Stone magazine interview that he had taken “lots of cocaine”. WBO chairman Luis Batista-Salas said Fury could lose his belt because of “inactivity, breach of contract and performance enhancing drugs and stimulants”.

He posted a message along with photos, “Just to let you know what time it is!” under the hashtag ‘HEAVYWEIGHTKING.’

Tyson Fury "Just to let you all know what time it is! @BBCSport @boxnationtv @SkySportsBoxing @ITV @HBOboxing @SHOsports #GYPSYKING #HEAVYWEI4GHTKING."

Fury’s wife Paris applauded the image, saying: “Yes sir. Can any other current boxers do that?”

Fury also faces a lengthy ban from UK Anti-Doping if found guilty of failing a test for Nandrolone, although he denies ever taking a performance-enhancing drug and will contest the case at a hearing next month.
